PANEL NAME: VOICE GRAPH ANALYSIS DISPLAY

FUNCTION OVERVIEW: This display shows a computer enhanced voice trace that can be used to verify identity of persons contacting the ship. It is also useful for determining if a speaker is under stress or duress. If a voice sample is logged in computer memory this display can determine if an incoming communication is real-time or recorded.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: There is a resident diagnostic program in the main computer and a bank of fine adjustments located under the communication console.
