PANEL NAME: LIFE FORMS DETECTOR

FUNCTION OVERVIEW: Used to conduct up to 19 separate scans to look for and identify possible life forms on a planet. Data is projected on a viewer above the Science Station Console. Scans can be aimed at up to four different locations. The round screen located in the upper-right corner is used to target scanner locations.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: Each scan element must be calibrated separate, see MCX-44611-008 for individual calibration sequencing.
