PANEL NAME: SHIELD STATUS DISPLAY

FUNCTION OVERVIEW: Shows power draw by the defensive shields in absorbing or repelling foreign objects or energy discharges. The shields are divided into three independent cells with auxiliary and override capability for each. This display is also used as a method of calibrating shield output and manually altering the shield during battle conditions.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: Each shield coil assembly must be taken off-line and adjusted individually.
