PANEL NAME: EXTERNAL SKIN TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

FUNCTION OVERVIEW: This passive display shows outside factors that will affect life support systems. Graphic views of the exterior illuminate to show temperatures that exceed space-normal. Readouts list temperatures and expansion factors that are used to calculate the drain on life support systems and increase dissipation rates. This display is also used to indicate battle damage to exterior surfaces and hull breaches.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: This is a passive display, no calibration is required.
